Automatic payouts & refunds
Winning bets, tournament prizes and refunds go to your wallet automatically.
Early testnet room payouts#
New Chaos markets use the first terminal Interlude result published on Monad, without waiting for delegation closure or the challenge period. This is an explicit testnet policy: a later successful challenge can change the result after the wallet has already received test MON. It is not irreversible protocol finality or a promise of instant delivery.
The adapter reads the actual published participants, winner and result hash. Neither the VPS nor a caller supplies a winner. The first accepted result is fixed for that market; later disputes and corrections are recorded in a persistent operator audit, without reversing completed payments or paying a corrected winner again. A challenge already open at acceptance delays settlement until it is resolved.
Receiving a payment needs neither a passkey ceremony nor an online recipient. Ordinary matches award ELO only, never a new MON prize. Game delegation renewal remains a separate lifecycle and can still pause new games; early payouts do not remove that limitation.
Open your account, Betting credit & wallet, then Your recent positions. States include Position open, Waiting for result publication, Payment pending, Paid to your wallet, Payment delayed and Losing position · No payout. Payment transaction opens the receipt. Retry payment retries only a reserved debt to its fixed beneficiary. The worker attempts up to six automatic transfers before leaving further retries to the account. Funding and RPC outages can delay discovery or submission.
Previous room markets#
Existing markets remain bound to their original immutable adapter and vault. The original markets wait for delegation closure and the protocol challenge period; the later early-payout markets retain their first-publication policy. Choose Betting account to inspect current or previous betting credit and withdraw with a passkey. No balances or pending transactions are transferred to the new contracts. Each match keeps its original market.
Late bets in live markets#
Rules-5 games publish their execution end timestamp along with the result. The new market refunds actual purchase costs for bets included on Monad in or after that final second. The same-second boundary is deliberately conservative. This prevents a bet submitted after the winner is visible from becoming a winning payout during publication delay.
Earlier winning shares are paid normally. A position containing earlier winning shares and later bets receives both its eligible winnings and the late-bet refund. An earlier losing position receives no winnings, but any late part is still refunded. These amounts remain reserved if a recipient refuses the transfer and can be retried without another passkey signature.
V4 payments remain separate#
In V4, winning bets, tournament prizes and eligible cancellation refunds are paid directly to the fixed beneficiary's Mera wallet. You do not need to click Claim, approve another passkey request or remain connected to receive them.
A contract does not wake up by itself. The relayer discovers confirmed outcomes through Envio, verifies them against the contracts and submits the payment transactions. The contract fixes the recipient and amount; the caller cannot redirect the payment.
Follow payment states#
Open Wallet payments in the account panel to see the amount, origin, state and transaction link. Your wallet balance is shown separately from available betting credit.
| State | What to do |
|---|---|
| Payment pending | Wait for discovery, transaction submission and confirmation |
| Paid to your wallet | Inspect the receipt and wallet balance; no claim is needed |
| Payment delayed | Read the error and use Retry payment when offered |
| No payout for this bet | The position lost or has no amount due; this is not a blocked claim |
Retries and refunds#
A rejected transfer leaves a reserved debt. Retries use that same beneficiary and debt, so they cannot pay twice. The relayer retries progressively, and a delayed receiver does not prevent another beneficiary's payment or the game's result.
A confirmed cancelled match refunds accepted purchase costs under the market's rules. A confirmed cancelled tournament refunds entry fees; the seeded contribution is accounted for separately. A loss is not a cancellation and does not refund the losing bet.
Funding, RPC or indexer outages can delay delivery. The payment history is the place to check the current result, not an assumed fixed delivery time.
What does not pay automatically#
Ordinary match wins award ELO when ranked, not MON prizes. V1–V3 claims still credit their old vaults and need a signed withdrawal. V4 wallet winnings are not automatically transferred into betting credit. Balance guide.
