Tournaments

Join a bracket#

Open More → Tournaments. Each card shows its capacity, registered players, entry cost, prize and current state. Current tournaments are Classic ranked, with single-elimination brackets of 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 players.

Select Register and approve the registration with your owner passkey. If an entry fee exists, it is debited from betting credit. Registration is an owner-authorized operation even for a free entry. A registered account cannot enter the same tournament twice.

Start and play each round#

Start bracket is available only when the contract's conditions are satisfied. A tournament must fill its advertised capacity; it can start when full, or after its closing time if still full. A partially filled bracket does not silently resize.

Entrants are seeded by Classic ELO, with deterministic address ordering for equal ratings. In an active round, press Play round. Both opponents join that tournament pairing; generic matchmaking is not a substitute for the round button.

The relayer attaches eligible matches and advances completed rounds automatically. Wait for the confirmed result and updated bracket before the next round. A cancelled match can be replaced under the tournament's contract rules.

Prizes and cancellation#

The winner receives the seeded prize plus accepted entry fees directly in their wallet through V4's payout accounting. They do not need to remain connected or sign to receive it.

Cancellation is permitted after registration closes without a full bracket, or after an active round exceeds 12,000 blocks. The confirmed cancellation enables automatic entry-fee refunds. The seeded contribution returns to the fixed treasury separately.

A rejected wallet transfer becomes a reserved, retryable payment. Payment states.

After a tournament game#

Rematch creates an independent challenge against the same opponent, with no new entry fee. It does not replay or modify a tournament bracket result.
