FAQ & glossary
Quick answers and the language used around the arcade.
Quick answers#
Is playing free?#
Gameplay gas is sponsored while the relayer is funded. Bets and fee-bearing tournament entries use test credits. Disabling a daily sponsorship ceiling does not make funding unlimited.
Do I get MON for every win?#
No. Ordinary ranked games award ELO; friendly games award neither ELO changes nor a new MON prize. Winning bets and tournament prizes have their own accounting.
Do I need a wallet extension?#
No. PONGIT uses a Mera passkey account. The provider must support PRF. Your public username is not your wallet or recovery credential.
Can I bet on myself or sell a position?#
Participant accounts cannot bet on their own match. The current LMSR interface supports buying and settlement, not early resale.
Why are old claim buttons different?#
V4 pays due amounts directly to the wallet. V1–V3 credit their old vaults and still require a signed withdrawal. Balances.
Is Interlude live?#
The Interlude lab is a separate Classic friendly arena with Mera sessions and spectators. The main arcade still uses Monad directly for its ranked games, Chaos, tournaments and financial operations. Engine response time and Monad commitment are different measurements.
Can I recover every replay?#
The app retains the latest three eligible finished games per participant. Events remain onchain, but the site does not automatically rebuild retired replays.
