Recover from connection, input, audio and payment problems.
I cannot connect or renew#
Use pongit.xyz over HTTPS and a PRF-capable passkey provider. Continue as… recovers the remembered account; Use another passkey selects a different credential. Creating another passkey creates another identity, not a repair of the old one.
If the arcade session expired, click Reconnect in the header or Play now to renew directly. Close duplicate controlling tabs if the page reports another tab owns the session. Session guide.
My paddle feels delayed#
Check Network details. Server round-trip, queue/preparation, broadcast, confirmation and snapshot age measure different parts of the path. A responsive local paddle does not mean the command is already included onchain.
SYNCING / PREVIEW PAUSED means prediction reached its bound. Wait for a fresh snapshot. Do not hold another movement key to compensate for a disconnected transport. On reconnect, the contract state remains authoritative. Latency explanation.
A search or invitation seems stuck#
Read the waiting screen and inbox. A pending invitation can expire or be declined; a submitted match transaction cannot be falsely cancelled. Check whether either opponent already has a match or queue. Avoid repeated invitations while an existing one is being created.
I cannot hear anything#
Open Arcade settings → Test sound. Check mute, both volume sliders, browser activation, tab mute and the physical output device. If the music load failed, retry through a user gesture after the connection recovers. Audio guide.
A bet failed or payment is delayed#
Refresh the quote if it expired or the market locked. Check available betting credit and approve with the owner passkey. A failed quote does not imply a lost wallet transfer.
For a due payment, inspect its history and receipt. Use Retry payment only when offered. A losing position correctly shows no payout. Older versions require their separate claim and withdrawal flow.
A replay or note is missing#
A retired replay is intentionally no longer retained; its result and payments survive. Notebook edits need Save encrypted. A revision conflict requires reviewing the saved copy before discarding local work.
When reporting an issue, include the browser, time, versioned match reference, visible error and public transaction hash. Never include a passkey secret, wallet key, session key or decrypted private notebook.
